My practice has been established in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire since 1998, so I have many years experience of offering both psychological therapy and clinical supervision for other practitioners. In addition to my practice I have been providing training in CBT since 2005. Talkmatters Psychology provides workshops and short courses in CBT and I am currently Associate Lecturer at the University of West of England where I contribute to the teaching on the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. Previously I was Programme Director of the course and prior to that I developed and ran an IAPT CBT course at the University.
I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology (first class), a Master's degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MA CBT) and Doctorate in Psychology (D.Psych), as well as having completed training in other treatments including EMDR, which is now recommended by the NICE Guidelines as an effective intervention for trauma.
